I first learned that I was an HSP<\/a>, more than simply “too sensitive for my own good,” shortly after my husband’s death in 2012. Up until that point, no one had ever suggested to me that there were actually sound reasons for what I had always experienced as depression and anxiety and generalized fear<\/span>—other than the usual chemical and psychological ones. I was taught that being hypersensitive and overemotional were BAD things that required correction, control, and constant mitigation<\/span>—<\/span><\/strong>and I would bet that if you’re reading this, you know exactly how exhausting it is to live 100% of your life trying to cover up what you feel, what you sense, what you think, and what you know . . . to cover up who you really are.<\/p>\n
Why did everything change when Randy made his transition? First, because my life took a dramatic turn when he began to communicate with me from the Other Side, and then because I learned that intense emotions, like grieving, fear, anxiety, depression<\/a>, etc., act as filters to block out the guidance, the intuition, the connection, the creativity, we so crave.<\/p>\n
Learning I was an HSP<\/a> was helpful in so many ways. And yet, all that I ascertained from the literature was that I needed to adapt, to learn ways to avoid, correct, shut down, cope with my sensitivities–which, I have to be honest with you, takes a heck of a lot of energy on a permanent basis.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Until Randy’s death and his ongoing communications, my options for success along the route of shutting down what felt like the Curse of Sensitivity were few. It’s one thing to tell someone to appreciate who they are for all their “quirks,” and quite another to absolutely begin to believe that what we’ve previously felt as curses can now be experienced as blessings.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

This has been my path, from high-functioning yet profoundly unhappy HSP<\/a>, professional musician, corporate trainer, wife and mother, editor and writer, and widow, to intuitive medium, to guided musician and, finally, to the Celestial Professor. My commitment to my spiritual journey, and all that has led me to this point in time, has also guided me in developing amazing new tools for HSPs that amplify your vibration, celebrate your sensitivities, and elevate the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
